Hey hey, what's happening?
So this week... oh buddy.
Tuesday: We cried. We learned. We were uplifted. We had Specialized Training, with President Daines. WE WATCHED MEET THE MORMONS!!!!!
That's right, your eyes do not deceive you! President got permission to screen it two weeks early for the missionaries in the Great OCM! It was splendid!!! Everybody should watch it. Everybody should take non-members to it! Someone should send it to me once it gets on DVD. Haha.
Wednesday: The beginning of the end. We had District Meeting and were afterwords informed that it was the Elder's week to have the car. We had no idea. Neither of us had bikes, or a plan how to get from Reynoldsburg back to Blacklick, a 15 minute drive. So the rest of the day was a stress-filled blur of trying to find transportation from Reynoldsburg-to-Whitehall-to-Blackilck-to-Whitehall-to-Reynoldsburg again. I can't really tell you what happened, I just know that I am so grateful for our truly generous ward members who helped us out in our time of need. Oh, I love these people.
The next two days we tried to find bikes. Easier said than done. Sister Loder is only 5'0, making most bikes impossible for her to ride.
The rest of the week was hectic, trying to figure out how in the world we were going to make it 8 miles away to our progressing investigators to get them to conference...
At least we will have the car next week for Sister Loder's Birthday, and a whole lot of damage control.
I absolutely adored conference. It is just what I needed. I have recently been studying Christ-like attributes, and how we can best fulfill his commandment to "be perfect even as (He) is." Conference held quite a bit of personal revelation for me, no surprise. If you haven't already, watch it. Don't forget to pray for the companionship of the Holy Ghost to impress to you, what you can do to better follow the example of our Savior.
P.s. My favorite was Elder Robbins. What about you?
